Air Travel To National Parks & Game Reserves In Kenya|Tanzania|Uganda|East Africa By Private Air Charter & Scheduled Air Flights

Air travel in East Africa is the most preferred and fastest way for transportation. There air transport  travel has been segmented  into  two categories namely, scheduled  air flights  where a traveler pays airfare and it is charged per seat and operates on a timetable and secondly private air charter flights where you charter an aircraft and you pay for full aircraft for a return trip.

Every year  starting from  Mid June to end of October we have wildebeest immigration from Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya and this season is called high in tourism industry and that is when everybody wants to visit the Masai Mara and all hotels,lodges,tents,scheduled air flights are booked six and one year in advance.

Out of Nanyuki airstrip  in Mt Kenya you will find scheduled flights  to Maasai Mara,Samburu,Meru,Lewa Downs,Loisaba,Kitich  which airfares are charged on oneway and return basis. From Moi airport in Mombasa we have scheduled air flights departing and arriving from East Africa national parks, game reserves, and major cities from African continent. From Jomo Kenyatta International airport we have regional scheduled air flights, international scheduled air flights, and domestic scheduled air flights departing and arriving from Africa &worldwide. Wilson Airport is the base out of Nairobi for the domestic scheduled air flights  and private air charter flights  within Kenya, Tanzania  and Zanzibar and Africa where most of the airplanes are stationed of all types helicopters, cargo aircraft, jet  cargo aircrafts,VIP Executive business jet charter aircraft, air ambulances, turbo prop twin and single engine aircraft. Scheduled air flights to Mombasa have a departure after two hours throughout the day operated by airlines out of Jomo Kenyatta airport and 2 departures every day out of Wilson airport, Nairobi. Flights  to and from Kisumu and Eldoret are operated four times daily out of Jomo Kenyatta airport  arrivals  and departures  varying  .The timetables  have a time interval difference of  half an hour or one hour and aircraft operated  are  regional  jets, turbo prop aero planes  of capacity of 37 to  90 seats. The bigger the aero plane the lower the cost per ticket.

Scheduled air flights  from  Tanzania  operates from Daresaalam,Kilimanjaro,Arusha  ,Mwanza  and Zanzibar airports and aircrafts ranges from jets & turbo prop. Most of the airlines operate into Entebbe international airport and then you can catch domestic private air charter flights or scheduled air flights into the national parks and game reserves. From Soroti airport in Uganda you can hire a private air taxi to any destination within Uganda either a helicopter, jet aircraft or fixed wing aircraft. Timetables and airfares are published to the major national parks and game reserves which can be changed without notice due to the determining factors of air transport. Private air charter flights supplement the scheduled air flights when the traveler needs do not match the scheduled air flights timetable. Scheduled  air flights   to  Uganda  arrive  and depart locally, regionally  and internationally from Kenya,Tanzania,Rwanda,Ethiopia,Nigeria,Sudan,South Sudan,DR  Congo that brings  in tourists for both inbound and outbound.
